In general I like this set. My baby does engage with them visually and also likes to make noise when she kicks around her bassinet. So I knew that thered be some sound element, but the chimes are like...real chimes. Imagine a classic wind chime in your house, sensitive to EVERY movement that your baby makes on whatever you attach these to. Its a nice idea, but I eventually just took them off the playard I had them on. I might try to remove the chimes from a couple of them at least. Theyre also very long from hook to feet so have a plan on where you want them.

These are adorable. Our son hates how loud they are, though, since he is a highly sensitive child, and the bell section is sewn on. So even though hed like to play with the characters, without the sounds, he doesnt enjoy them because of the loud bells that cant detatch. We would not like to cut them off, so were saving them until hes a bit older. Maybe hell enjoy them later.

Bought these for my newborn since babies cannot see color in their first few months of life. I keep one hanging on her car seat. All those colorful wrap around the handle toys are cute, but it’s too much for new babies to focus on. These were perfect to help with eye development in the first 5-8 weeks of life. I recently started buying her new developmental toys at 8 weeks, but she still loves it when I use these during play & tummy time. Babies are simple, it’s us adults that make things more difficult, remember that when having a first child. Definitely recommend these as first toys for eye development
