Im not sure how I missed this in the reviews, but Id have chosen something different if Id known. These skates reek of cigarette smoke, like theyve been stored inside a bar full of smokers for decades. Seriously really awful, its so gross. I want to send them back, but I need to convince my daughter. Theyre really cute and look like theyd be fun, but we havent used them yet because they smell so bad. Theyve been out of the box for a bit and its not getting any better at all. I will probably send them back and find a new pair for my daughter.

I purchased these skates for my 4 yr old granddaughter who wears a size 9 , and these skates are perfect. Skates are heavy and the wheels roll perfectly, she is skating on my hardwood floors as she is a beginner. For the price.. worth every dime!
