> 3 dayI use these for rhythmic dance skating on wooden rink floors...old school baby! These wheels are very smooth and roll well with the perfect mix of grip and hardness to pull off my St Louis G-slide, Cali Shuffle, crazy leg, dip, grapevine and all my other line dances. For indoor, wooden floor dance skating, you cant go wrong with these Bones Elites. Have fun and dont stop rollin!

Not Happy
> 3 dayGood slide on concrete and a little more traction on wood (but not much more). About the same. Took a few minutes to get used to the difference compared to stock wheels with a lower durometer rating, but now softer wheels feel like sludge. I should have got white because they look awesome, but I guess black will do.

> 3 dayReally big difference between these and my 96A wheels. I enjoy recreational skating on a nice wood rink. These give me a lot more glide, maneuverability, and speed, and dont make my shin splints hurt as much. They took some getting used to because they are so much slicker. My 96As had grooves, these are smooth and have very little grip. I literally fell down while standing still, lol! But thats on me and not the wheels. I really love them, just need to get a little more confident in my skates!

> 3 dayBest over all wheel for roll , grip, and durability. Like the 103 Hardness for a little more roll and for turning with a little more slide.

> 3 daySo, I waited for these beauties to arrive, expecting to go out on the rink & just be impressed with my extra speed. I swapped out my Bones Team 98a & took these for a spin in my house. Now, Im not a beginner. Ive been skating all my life, but just because you skate, doesnt mean you actually know how. Lol. My goal is to keep up with the shuffle skaters at the rink. I get tired of being left in the dust! So I got some Bones Reds bearings which are awesome & decided to pair them with these wheels. Whew! Theyre slippery! Im wondering if I should call the paramedics before I arrive at the rink, or just call after. These bad boys have over a 20 second free spin on them with Bones bearings. Seriously, Ive tried sure grip wheels, I hate them. Bones are the way to go. These seem like a good wheel but Ill have to give them a chance & adjust. Someone else mentioned that the bearings are hard to get in these wheels. They are very difficult! But theyre a very hard durometer, so they dont have any give to them. They are plastic vs rubber on a softer wheel. You need a bearing tool to get these on. I used a manual bearing tool and I still hurt my hand but did succeed in getting them all installed in about 20 minutes. Happy skating! Update: tried these out at the rink & theyre fabulous. Not slippery actually. On the rink floor theyre perfect. But they are very fast & pick up speed really quickly. The first time I got off the floor, I couldnt stop! You have to have good control if you skate in these & I dont know if Im there yet, but Im going to keep skating in these. Really like them.

FAB
> 3 dayThis is the second set of these wheels I’ve bought. I really like these. Smooth and hard with a good grip that keeps you from sliding all over the place. Nice and fast at the rink though. I don’t do skate park so I can’t remark on how they would do there. The clear ones I bought are clear but they are quite a bit yellow/beige tinged. That was fine for my skates which have a brown/green theme but just be aware they aren’t colorless. Shipping was really really fast. Just 3 days to Alaska which is amazing!

> 3 dayI ordered these wheels to add to my collection, unfortunately, they were not as described and one of the wheels seemed uneven. The clear color was not clear but more like yellow gold. I decided to return and will purchase all wheels at the rink from now on.

Greater than one weekQuality has seriously declined from the Bones I skated on in the mid90s. I competed in Artistic roller skating, dance and pairs. As soon as I started putting the bearings in these I knew something was wrong… the bearings would not go all the way into the wheels (you can see the gap of the inner bearing in the photo). Yes, I used a bearing press… and smashed them in, as hard as I could. On the back, both wheels have an inner bearing that wouldn’t go all the way into the wheel, causing a HUGE gap at the spacers. Notice the difference on the other skate where the inner bearing is in all the way, almost no gap near the spacer (how it should look) but that wheel has an outer bearing that wouldn’t go in. I skated on these once and never again. The difference in the spacing was sever enough that my partner kept hitting my back wheel as it sits farther out on the axle. Maybe these wheels are fine for beginner skaters, but do NOT get these if you are even a little serious about your skating. I will also say, the bearings I used were also made by Bones. What company makes two products intended to function together, and doesn’t ensure they work well together, or even fit together properly? So sad. I skated on a pair of Bones Elites from 1994-2002 and remember them being great wheels… not anymore. Made in China junk.
