Used a drill to start hole in ceiling, then hand screwed the hooks in with ease.

I used this to hang plants from the ceiling in my living room, hang my sons handmade wind sockets, and also to attach lights outside on my patio. Both indoor and outdoor, seems like they are sturdy and will last.

For the price i thought it was perfect choice.i started using them when organizing my college sons house, ie... coffee cups by the pot, pot holdes up out of the way but easily accessible. Used a lot throughout the house. Lol his exacts words were, Wow, Awesome Mom!
