> 24 hourDo not..I repeat, do NOT take the pin out in a small room because DAYUM its loud. Absolutely perfectly LOUD. Im glad I chose this over a couple of others I saw where people in reviews said they werent loud enough. NO complaints about that here lol. I ride a bike to work in the very early, still dark, hours in the morning. I will feel a little bit safer having this with me.

> 24 hourFirst off if you have an issue with how loud this is then you’re not really in the market for something to keep you safe.... this is extremely loud and exactly what every woman, young child, elderly, and anyone who can be easily preyed upon should carry with them. Also I believe Trump supporters should carry these as well because the amount of attacks is ridiculous. In SF you will be attacked if they find out you support Trump so this will come in handy because there’s no way someone will stick around with how loud it is. I feel so much safer having this on my keychain. It will scare off pretty much anything! I think it’s also great if you go hiking and need to keep animals back. I can’t recommend this enough! I bought the 6 pack and already put the pink one on my keychain. Super cute and super safe! Edit: Tried to use mine the other day and realized it’s dead lol. So maybe give it a check often.

> 24 hourWhen I was a kid in the eighties, we were allowed to play outside without worry or go to the neighbors house. My husband went all over his neighborhood on his bikes. I would say I am more lenient than a lot of younger parents but I worry about something happening to my kids while theyre out. I bought these to give me and the kids a little extra protection when theyre, say, walking to the park. They were easy to use, and I had each kid practice pulling the pin. When they go outside to walk down to the playground down the street, I make them clip them to their clothing. I can hear them several houses away on a clear day, but theyre also loud enough that they would most likely scare off an intruder and call the attention of anyone nearby. We live in a pretty relaxed working-class neighborhood, and I imagine if anyone heard it they would quickly come out to see what was up. I also hung one inside the front door so if there was an intruder, they could pull the pin. Intruders are more likely to avoid getting caught up in a scenario that isnt easy. Its not a complete safety solution, but for the price, its affordable enough that everyone should get them for their kids.

> 24 hourI plan to use these as an improvisational alarm system. They are loud enough, and with a little ingenuity, these things can be strung here and there, causing a chain of alarms to go off. And, with a bit more cleverness, make turning them off nigh on impossible. Remember Home Alone? Well, I was like that. Now I am worse. :)
