Its a great size for smaller items and appears to be well made with durable material.

Perhaps it was the nostalgic lure of the product image that reminded me of my childhood days wandering through the old military surplus and Army/Navy stores that caught my eye. Whatever it was, it worked. I currently have 6 in use and need another. These flexible ditty bags are the same durable canvas quality of the Mil-Spec bags of old...and with heavy-duty brass zippers. They are fantastic gear bags for fishing, hunting, camping, auto & ATV tool kits. Many tools today do not come with carrying cases. These bags are great for creating tool kits for specific purposes...and I like to create my own kits. I’ve seen professional craftsmen like plumbers and electricians dig for 15 minutes in a box the size of a double-wide bathtub filled with a 20 year collection of job related odds and ends. Sometimes they actually find what they are looking for. Perhaps the search and discovery is part of the fun. Personally, I’d rather have what I need when I need it and know where to find it. What’s wrong with organization? The first-aid kits on the market today offer too much of what I don’t need and not enough of what I do need, so, I build my own according to my special needs. This bag works perfectly for me. Cheap first-aid kits in plastic containers will break and spill the contents all over the ground...and shards of broken plastic will cut flesh and none of the kits I’ve seen even contain Celox or QuikClot. One caveat: If you are thinking of buying your wife one for a make-up or overnight kit, you might want to reconsider.

This is a very good quality canvas tool bag. I used them for tool kits for customers, the zippers and snaps are large and good construction. The only draw back for me is I was unable to have them embroidered (not the manufacturers fault).

I wanted an easy to carry around bag for my most often used hand tools like the one I used years ago. The original military issue bag I was issued did not have the side pockets and inside tool holders. Ive not found either of these features as useful as I had hoped. I may yet find some smaller tools to put these features to good use.

Exactly what it says it is. Be prepared to let it sit outside for a few days because it smells dreadful. Probably something it is treated with A week in the sun helps a lot.
