> 24 hourThese bits should work okay with soft woods, and possibly very slowly with hard woods, but not in any sort of commercial setting. Remember, you get what you pay for.

> 24 hourIf youre a frequent router user you know that your bit collection is one of the most important decisions you can make when planning your projects. This is a huge set of bits and a fantastic price for such a large assortment. The brilliant yellow finish helps make them stand out. The aluminum case with viewing window is a superb way to help keep the collection together. The assortment is broad enough to give you a bit for just about every normal project youll find you need in most standard use cases. Unfortunately, I have only had to use a few of the bits so far for my projects (mostly straight bits to counter-bore surfaces to flush-mount plates in solid surfaces). The bits have been sharp enough to cut without stopping. Rider bearings have rolled smoothly and do not appear to lock-up while moving. They seem true as there is no obvious warble or obstructive variation to surfaces once the job is complete. The bits fit very well in their case and do not move around when the case is moved around or jarred. There are wonderful labels where each bit sits with a helpful diagram showing what each bit is meant for. It is also very well manufactured with metal hardware (instead of plastic), which will help it live longer and be more durable in work environments. If youre looking at replacement bits or a certain bit, I would recommend grabbing this kit up and giving it a try before you spend more money on other options that may not give you as much.

> 24 hourMy recent purchase of router bits was even better than expected. They. Arrived in a nice aluminum case with a large plexiglass viewing area making bits easy to locate. The bits appear to be of very fine quality and will most likely fill the needs of the average DIY projects. Yhe price was another great feature. I highly recommend this product for its value, utility, and quality

> 24 hourI am getting more active in my woodworking shop and wanted a more robust set of bits. Plus, I am getting into some heavier materials so I wanted a good supply of 1/2 bits in addition to the 1/4 bits that I have. I saw this kit and liked everything in the listing and ordered them. They arrived in what, on the outside, seemed like a really awesome case. It was sturdy and has a clear window on the front. The hardware was solid. I thought it would be excellent storage for the bits, especially because each row has a color picture of the bits and what kind of cuts they produce. I opened the case and there was an extra layer of foam in there to protect the window with two layers of bubble wrap between that and the bits. The first thing I noticed was that everything was stuck to the router bits. I peeled off the bubble wrap and all the bits seemed coated in some kind of sticky gooey film. Almost like someone sprayed adhesive over the whole thing. After I removed the bubble wrap, I went to remove a bit to inspect it and realized that the top and middle row were no longer connected to the case. I don’t know if these got thrown around in transit or if they were stored in some 500 degree warehouse and the adhesive from the rows liquified and flowed over everything. Whatever it was, two things came of it. First, the case is not going to work. I could glue the rows back on but I will probably just create a little wood case to hold the bits in after I wash and degrease each of them. Then I will probably gut the case and repurpose it for something else. Even handling one bit for a moment to take a picture and I had to wash my hands to get the oily stuff off of them. All that aside, I did take one bit and make some passes with a scrap piece of fairly soft wood. The bits cut fairly clean and bit the wood well. They were pretty sharp out of the box but I can’t say how long they will hold up, especially if you are using harder materials. I’ve definitely used bits that made cleaner cuts, but they also cost significantly more so if your career and income is based on these being used every day in your shop, you may want to upgrade. Most of my stuff is soft wood and MDF and they are not projects that require perfection so I think these will work fine. Most of my positive review here is strictly on how well the bits function. For even a more veteran woodworker, this kit will give you the right bit for just about any job you need to do. I should haven’t to buy any more after this except for maybe some specialty job. I want to give it a 3.5 but I will round up to 4 because of how well the bits performed. I just hate that something I bought added the extra work of cleaning everything thoroughly and then building something to hold them. Water under the bridge at this point.

> 24 hourTheses have worked great so far. The 1/4” bits fit my Dewalt router perfectly. They cut through the wood with ease.

> 24 hourWhen I saw this set of bits with the wide variety of configurations, quality carrying case and carbide tipped, I had to give it a shot. Wow, was I surprised by what arrived. Seeing a set of this size and variety for the price, I was expecting average quality at best. Thats simply not the case at all. These bits are very sturdy, sharp, accurate and durable. The bearings seem to be constructed of quality materials and have, during my use, held up fantastically with no sign of wear of damage. As a home woodworker, I think that these bits will likely give me years and years of satisfactory results with no need of replacement. I have used some of these bits on Plywood, Juniper lumber, Oak lumber, Pine lumber, and even MDF with excellent results. Some of them I have used dozens of times and still seem quite sharp with no signs of tearing, grooves from nicks or burning/burnishing that you can experience with dull bits. I particularly like the design of the carrying case, with the clear front window, so you can see what bits you have. The case itself is particularly sturdy and I see no reason why it would ever wear out with normal use. The dimensions and designs of the various bits seem to be right on, so no worries about mismatched joints. Overall, I have been very pleasantly surprised by this set. It is what I would consider more than adequate for pretty much every home woodworker. No, they are not what I would call industrial quality that you would expect for high end cabinetry and such, but for that you would be spending much more money anyway and not buying a set in this price range. Me, I cant really tell the difference and I look forward to utilizing this set for many many years.
