A few issues with this that make it mediocre at best. The hole size needed for install is 2, not the 1.75 the pictures and description in the listing seem to suggest. Even the instructions that came with the plug state a 2 hole is needed. Itd be nice if the listing was updated to not cause confusion. This plug is absolutely not waterproof. At best Id call it mildly water resistant. I installed this on a horizontal surface on a camper trailer so the receptacle is facing upwards. First issue is that the plastic base where the prongs are attached has a gap around the entire circumference of the receptacle that is very much open and allows water to pass through. Secondly, the cap that blocks the receptacle when not in use is not the tightest fit, so water can absolutely make its way in. While driving in wet conditions, a LOT of water made its way through the receptacle and into the battery compartment on my camper trailer. Definitely not a good place for water to be. I went to town with some silicone sealant and have a more water resistant receptacle now, but Im still not convinced it is going to be as tight as I need. So long story short, if you are planning to mount this horizontally or otherwise in a place that will see a fair amount of moisture, Id look for a different plug. If youre going for a vertical mount with little to no moisture around and definitely wont be using the receptacle during adverse weather, then its fine.

These installed with Ease and I am very happy with the quality. They are built solid. Cap closes very tight.

This was simple to install and the rubber seal works well both to seal against the wall and to keep water out when the plug is not in use.

Put one on the house in the past for a generator connection to run the furnace. This one’s on a truck topper

Like- put on outside of cargo trailer for power inside, put one outlet, switch, and light, plug cord in from outside and now you have power.

They say you need to drill a 1 3/4 hole but thats a lie, its 2 inches, so now Im trying everything I can to enlarge ot so I can put this in. This is pretty crappy tbh
