    I only bought this particular tape measure so it matches my other tools. I dont use the tools extensively or for any hefty work. I mostly hang art and do odd jobs around my apartment. Im not sure how a tape measure breaks from measuring a wall to hang framed art, but that is what happened. The metal tape broke off its interior pin. I cant believe I took the time to take it apart after watching a youtube video on repairing a tape measure, but I did. It works. But not like new and I feel like it should have handled simple handywork better than it did.

    Showed up right on time, packaged neatly, even had a little note from the small business that was reselling it. Brand spanky new, and the perfect gift for my fiance whos building his ryobi tool collection. And Home Depot said Ryobi didnt make measuring tapes. Made it all the more a surprise on christmas!
