> 3 dayCockatiels and parakeets are like children. You buy them toys just so they can tear them up. But since they have to constantly chew to keep their bills trim it is understandable. So it makes me very happy when I find something that they like to work on diligently. As soon as I put it in the cage my cockatiels went to work on it immediately. It makes them happy so it makes me happy. I will be ordering more for them and for my parakeets.

> 3 dayMy parrotlets took to this perch immediately. They run around on it all the time. Probably better sized for medium parrots but they can use it for short periods of time.

> 3 dayGot both sizes of this perch. We have a parakeet & sun conure both fully flighted who are bonded and co-habitate a 65 wide flight cage that divides but is primarily left undivided. The smaller size is perfect as a door perch. We like to leave the door open, but this perch makes the door easy to close. Most importantly it doesnt stick out too far into the interior of the cage. The sun conure has lots of fun climbing through it, and both birds enjoy going up and down it. I put it at an angle on the door so one side is higher. Positioned the way it is the Sun Conure can easily navigate this with her tail. The parakeet can easily land on it without the sun conure moving if she is perched - definitely recommend. The larger one is hung from the ceiling of the cage and they have yet to find it. If you have a bird who likes to climb/fly these are very versatile, and worth the investment.

> 3 daySeller insisted on a review, so here it is in all its honesty. Green growth that looked like fuzzy mold was covering the wooden part on arrival. I dunked it in a solution of Oxyclean for 24 hours, rinsed, and let it dry for a week before putting it in the cage. The cockatiels loves it as a sleeping perch, and eventually chewed through in six months. It got its use and the birds seemed happy enough, but next time I’m doing other wood materials.

Greater than one weekI like how sturdy it is and my cockatiels love to relax on it. It is a good perch for cages to have.

> 3 dayGreat perch for my Senegal Parrot, Sunny! The wood is textured, yet still smooth and soft to the touch, for good comfort and grip. I mounted the perch on the front, outside of the cage, where Sunny can watch television, without obstruction and also have a good view around our house. We leave Sunny’s cage open most of the day (her wings are clipped) and this perch is her favorite place to sit, watch the Food Network, and hang out with the flock. A puppy pee pad, placed in front of the cage means one step cleanup and no mess on the floor.
