Nicely made and well-detailed! I just wish Nintendo wasnt pushing these as hard as they are, because it feels a bit like an over exaggerated afterthought, but what it does, it does well!

The craftsmanship of these figurines are incredible. Very highly detailed and look as good if not better than they do in their pictures online. Way to go Nintendo! As far as the functionality they do as they are described. I would not purchase these figurines for just their in game ability as in my opinion it is not needed and gives little in way of interaction, however they are great collectibles.

R.O.B. Is a great amiibo to have. Once you train him long enough, he will become your strongest and most annoying fighter. I will use him for games to come. It’s also a decent size so it’s a good statue. <3

I got two, so one came in great but with a little bent on the box while the other one looked like it got crunched, the amiibo didn’t get damaged so that’s the good thing, I hope who ever places the amiibo does a better job next time but yeah this company is awesome and I recommend it.

Definitely an impulse buy. I have four of them now. None of the rare ones though. One thing I didnt know is that if you want to use these on more than one game, you cant. But theyre still pretty neat if not totally unnecessary.

I mean, it is what it is...a collectable, it does its job. The finishing is quite well made actually. I only give it 4 starts because that pole between his legs (no pun intended) that thing just looks horrible..it is made with a clear material but its there.

Very happy with how this amiibo release was handled and the product in general.

Came in great quality. Didnt have any odd bends or strange marks on it like most amiibo I see in stores. And is generally awesome as a product. Im glad I pre-ordered this since Ive seen it sold out everywhere I go look for amiibo. As for its use for the Wii U? Well, I can only say Ive tried it for Smash Bros Wii U, and as a learning AI its top-notch. Not only does it learn how to better battle against me after every victory and loss, not only does it learn tricks from AIs that I cant pull off on my own, but it also shows that its learning mid-battle. Ive seen my Fox amiibo, one that I named Analyst, literally stop in his tracks and stop himself from charging into the fray once again against opponents whove done nothing but pummel the poor guy non-stop... and hed readjust his tactics, try another method of attack, rather than get himself KOd again and again by the same tricks (which my best custom lvl 9 CPUs cant seem to do). Analyst has since far surpassed me in skills, and I cant seem to adapt fast enough to his strategies to defeat him. Interestingly enough, my other amiibo, a Samus amiibo I named Technician, can easily beat him time and time again. The interesting thing is, the two amiibo were trained completely opposite from one another. Analyst was trained mostly against human opponents and multiple teamed CPUs. Technician was solely trained by battling CPUs in one-on-one battles. I cant beat Analyst in a fair fight, but I *can* beat Technician in a fair fight. Analyst knows how to battle against human opponents, its what he was trained to do. If he didnt fight a human target, he fought against multiple foes at once in order to better confront an ever-changing strategy. Technician only knows how to battle against AI opponents, its what she was trained to do. She knew how to battle any form of custom AI I threw at her in any settings, learning how to block and dodge their near-perfect strikes and set up traps ahead of time that normal CPUs couldnt easily predict. But Analyst couldnt figure out how to battle a single-minded impossibly strong AI. And Technician couldnt figure out how to fight a multiple-minded human opponent. The way these amiibo grow and learn with time in Smash Bros is not only incredible, but extremely intriguing and pleasing. They really feel like /your/ amiibo, and no one elses. You watched them grow and think on their own, so you know why they fight the way they do, why they think the way they do. But if anyone else fought them, they wouldnt know what to expect. And in the same way, you wouldnt know anything about another players amiibos strategies or way of battling. It really is an astonishing aspect of these little figurines. Far more fascinating than one would originally give them credit for.

Amazing detail on this figure. Samus doesnt stand perfectly straight though.. she leans awkwardly to the right, which is a little disappointing, but I can accept it. I bought it for use with a Japanese Wii U, so I can confirm that the figures themselves arent region locked. With Mario Kart 8 this figure gives you an outfit to use with the Mii Rider.. which isnt so exciting, especially if youve unlocked all the riders already. I think this figure is much more impressive when used with Smash Bros, giving you an AI to level up and train against. Im very much looking forward to being able to use these Amiibo figures with more games.
