S SATC 100PCS 5 Inch Sanding Discs 60/80/120/150/220 Grits Gold Sanding Discs Hook and Loop 8 Holes Sandpaper Orbital Sander

I bought these after searching for disks for my Porter Cable palm sander that has 5 dust collection holes. With 8 holes on the disks, I figured I was going to have at least half of them line up and it would work fine. They dont line up with more than 1 and 1/2 holes, leading to insuffient dust collection. OK thats my fault but I have bought other disks with the wrong number of holes (PC sanders seem to have a odd design you can hardly find disks for) and they worked acceptably with many of the holes lining up enough to work. But even with a LOT of holes these do not as I mentioned above. This is my fault for trying these knowing my sanders did not have 8 holes. But honestly I have never seen a sander this size with 8 holes. The disks are non-standard as far as I know. But they are well made enough and they hold together fine. Just extra holes do sometimes hang on things and the whole dust collection deal is a mess my workshop is all dust all over.

I want to start by saying I normally don’t write reviews, if I run across the bad product I generally just don’t go back and buy another. In this case I will make an exception. By the pictures you could see that that piece of sandpaper is barely used and I cannot keep it on my sander anymore. At first I blamed it on my whole craftsman sander, and went out and bought a new Dewalt almost identical sander. I cannot keep these on the brand new Dewalt sander and easier than I could my craftsman it’s not in the pad it’s in the sandpaper. I will never buy this product again and I hope no one else does either it’s junk

Had a few 120 grit disks left that I purchased from a big orange box store( you know the one) and sanded for hours with little to no payout. Within ten minutes I had done what I couldn’t do with five hours of time with the other disks. Great value for the money. Definitely worth the purchase.

You get a great assortment of sand grit #, from 220 to 60, but check the disc sander often. These almost instantly wear out. This equates to a potential to severely damage your costly disc sander unless you stop often and check the sand paper often. If youre doing quick 1-2 min. sanding jobs, theyre great. Anything more than that, expect a drive to the hardware store to replace your disc sander. Put these on the bottom shelf in your tool shed. Use them, but do yourself some good. Purchase better made, higher quality ones. Much, much fewer in quantity, but theyre made to PROTECT your disc sander..and these ones--are not.

The grit seems to have decent durability but the backing wears off when the grit is only half used. I have a stack of half used disks that I have to find other uses for.

The product is as advertised. Great value for the price.

Good product. I bought this for my Dewalt wired and wireless random orbital sander. I didn’t need a specific grit at the time that I purchased this product but I was happy with the variety of different grit that came in this pack. Good starter pack for anyone that doesn’t have any sanding paper for their tool.

Pads are well labeled, adhere well. They were well protected in shipping so all are in good shape

I have no idea why I was asked to rate the sheerness and thickness (seems like if you give one a 5, you should give the other a 1), but thats really irrelevant to what theyre used for. This is a good assortment of grits and the disks seem to be high quality.

Big box stores have changed to very poor quality sand paper and they have even raised those prices. These disk are about half the cost and they last much longer when sanding new wood. I still make special orders form sand paper companies for metal sanding paper, but these disk will handle most everything else.
