I dont usually write reviews, maybe I got a bad batch but I tried using these to remove rust and in the 1st minutes of ea try they exploed apart. One hitting me in the knee other in the foot! Do not buy unless you enjoy getting hit with flying objects!

Normally buy 3M discs but I thought Id give these a try on a deck strip. These worked just as fast as 3m but a little less durable.

Decently durable and do a very good job. I removed lairs of rust and pitting from an old tractors sheet metal with one of these and theres still plenty of life in it.

SO worth the money to save time scraping paint off my garage. Had to be careful though, as it is easy to sand too deeply and eat into the wood.

If you have ever removed paint, rust and especially mill scale from steel then you know how quickly a flap disc plugs up. Well that is not a problem with rips through rust, paint and mill scale so fast its amazing and they last much longer than I expected. They work great on oxidized aluminum as well. My local welding supply had a similar product that worked great, however were quite pricey. I decided to try these out and I am very impressed. Last as long as the one 3 times the price, maybe even longer. Unlike conventional grinding pads these do not take down the base metal once the rust is gone. Works well on rust, scale, paint, and body filler. Havent tried it out on anything else yet.

Removing multiple paint layers on an old Kansas City home. Not a standalone paint removal item, it definitely has a place in my paint removal arsenal. I have woven these stripping pads into my attack on paint removal. In many cases paint removal is not necessary but on old double-hung window sashes and old yellow pine doors is great since this item does not eat the wood as does sanding discs on an angle grinder. I still use the angle grinder to remove many over layers careful not to damage wood laying underneath. When I start seeing wood, I use these pads on the angle grinder to go into the last layer or two of paint b4 encountering wood. Sanding discs, if not really careful will abrade the wood surface. So this pad is critical to uncover and remove the final layer of paint. I tried using these pads on the angle grinder to eat through many layers but the pad heats up, bubbles the paint, and have a gooy mess. I learned not to bear down on the pad, but keep slight down pressure to avoid heating the paint. I will use these often and find they are very handy and useful.

Lasts fair cleans metal well

Takes paint and rust off used steel quickly with little pressure. Wont gouge steel. A bit spendy for the rate of wear. If you are old and tired though, they will save your energy for the rest of the job.

These worked well stripping of layers of old car paint.
