S-ZONE Vintage Canvas Messenger Bag Shoulder Bag 14 Inch Laptop Briefcase

Needed a bag to hold pocket folders and an iPad. Sturdy enough construction. Only drawback (and maybe its a factory boo-boo) but I expected two-sided padding for an iPad or laptop. Nope, only one pad, meaning that either the front or back of your device has some protection, not both sides. Otherwise the bag does its job well.

This bag is phenomenal. The leather is thick and feels great, the fittings are solid heavy metal and the stitching seems really rugged. I have been using it as a briefcase and backpack for business and grad school, but it its rugged enough to get some heavier use as well. I have noticed light scratching and wear on the clasps, but that is to be expected from daily use. The patina on the leather picks up scuffs pretty easily, but in my opinion this only makes the bag look better, because it gives it a really genuine used look. If they do bother you though, just apply some leather polish or water proofing, this darkens the bag up nicely and gives it a fresh new patina. My recommendation is that when you do this, take a hair dryer and warm the leather up so it opens the pores up and accepts the polish or proofing better.

This is a nice bag! If you want a large, sturdy, well built messenger bag and dont mind thats its pretty heacy. It has ample pocket space and a padded slot for a laptop that has a velcro strip for added security. I personally wish it was about 3-4 inches smaller, but I kept it and use it because its a very nice bag.

Bought for our High School Senior Daughter as an alternative to the normal back pack. She loves!!! Really cute bag and plenty big and enough storage for all her school needs.

This bag is the perfect size for traveling. Plenty of room and pockets.

Gift for my HS daughter who packs quite a bit into it. It seems to be holding up but will reassess after some time has gone by w regular use.

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter she wanted a messenger bag instead of a back pack. Im jealous- its strong material and well put together with oodles of pouches and compartments! I love it- and she loves it!

This has been a good bag in the last few months that I have had it. Have received lots of compliments from others about the bag. One of the tiny screws that secures the buckle latch to the leather strap was not machined very well and/or was stripped. The latch held on for a while with the other screw on the other side of the buckle. Eventually, ongoing use caused it to fail too. Notified seller of my challenge and they did an exceptional job of finding out what needed to be replaced and coordinated with the manufacturer to get me a replacement buckle. Seller did a great job of providing feedback and updates through this process. This level of customer service is truly wonderful when it happens. I would recommend this bag to others and that if they are interested in purchasing to use this seller. Update 14 May 2016 - Contacted seller due to a buckle failing and asked if it would be possible to get a couple spare buckles. The buckles are one of the few moving parts and get used many times a day so I dont find any fault or consider this to be a product failure. However, when I asked the seller about this, they quickly responded - even the original purchase was almost a year ago - and in a very short time received a package with a couple buckles. It feels great to have a spare in case something happens with another buckle. It feels even better that a seller is willing to continue the great customer service well after the sale. I really like this bag and the level of customer service from the seller has made it even better.

Im thoroughly impressed by this bag! Great leather and it feels like a really great product. I am mediately put leather honey on it to protect it from the weather. My only concern was the little strap as you can see in the photo broke off and was lost within a week. Ill be contacting the company to see what I can do. Overall Im really excited with the purchase and I look forward to having this bag for many years.

I really, really like this bag.... it is almost perfect. I love the color and material, it seems to be well made. I have 1 small complaint & 1 medium complaint: Small: The inside pocket doesnt have any structure to it and since it is made out of lighter material it sags which makes it a little difficult to keep stuff in it and find loose stuff on the outside of it. Medium: The latches are slightly off. The part that moves isnt quite tall enough (or the bracket is too tall)(pictures).. but what happens is if you shake your bag or move it in a certain way it will become unlatched and the flap will come open. This is an issue because the handle is apart of the flap and if that opens while you are holding on the handle the bad opens and your stuff could fall out. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I would/will give 5-starts if they had replacement latches.
