S-ZONE Vintage Canvas Messenger Bag Shoulder Bag 14 Inch Laptop Briefcase

The bag is okay, its very large and has a lot of zippered pockets which was a must for me. What I dont like about it is its a lot floppier than it looks in the pictures. It doesnt stand straight up and doesnt have any structure. It just looked frumpy so Im returning it. It seemed well made for those who dont mind though.

I was highly surprised when I received this in the mail. I was amazed at how thick the leather was, the amount of room that was inside, the color of the tanned leather, the durability of the bag! I have stuffed it to the max to see how it will hold up to the weight and it has held up quite well! I would certainly buy this bag again and even gift it to some one else!

I hate writing negative reviews, but I feel obligated to in this case. The bag itself made in China of genuine leather, which looks beautiful. Unfortunately, shoddy manufacturing and poor customer service sink its potential. Major Flaw #1: The latches on this bag WILL BREAK and ARE NOT REPLACEABLE unless provided by the manufacturer. I used the bag 1-2 days per week for the first year I owned it and broke two of them. While under warranty, the manufacturer did eventually replace them (after multi-week delays while they shipped from the warehouse in China). Unfortunately, after the warranty expired, one of the replacements broke and the seller refused to provide or even sell me another replacement latch. I would happily pay for new latches since I already invested in this bag, but they wont let me buy any. My bag no longer latches shut and I cannot do anything about it. If you buy this bag, expect it to break, and understand that you will not find replacement latches once your warranty expires. You have one year. Minor Flaw #1: The strap attachments will also break. They are metal, but they are also flimsy. This isnt as big of a deal since you can find replacement straps, but expect to invest in one if you purchase this bag. Minor Flaw #2: Being cheap leather, the stain and oil was poorly applied. Touching the bag to your clothing will transfer brown pigment to whatever youre wearing, and it will not come out. I ruined clothing this way before realizing it. This can be remedied by thoroughly rubbing the leather with a damp towel for a really long time... or buy not buying this bag. Minor Flaw #3: The stitch work is poorly done. I wouldnt worry about it failing, though, because the latches and strap attachments will break first. Making this more unfortunate is the fact that each of these flaws is easily fixable. The manufacturer could use higher quality hardware for a few dollars more and have a quality product. Likewise, they could offer support for buyers to correct their defective parts. Sadly, they dont, and you should not buy this bag.

Great bag for the money. Sturdy construction so far (used for a couple weeks). Have a similar s-zone canvas duffel bag which also has held up well. Will definitely look to this brand again in the future.

Great looking, exactly what I was looking for, and I was looking at bags 2-3x the price. I picked it because it doesnt look like one of those typical nerdy laptop bags. A few issues to put in the you get what you pay for file, but they are fixable if you have the time. If you dont you may find a much more expensive bag, but I still like the look of this one, and Ive gotten lots of compliments. It also holds up well - I am writing this over two year after I bought the bag. Heres what I did, which sounds like a lot of work, but it really wasnt for me since I considered it to be a project that I did over time. Worth noting that I didnt need to do any of this to make it look good and be functional, I just liked the bag and wanted it to look nicer. 1) Nowhere near enough cushion for a laptop. Easy remedy, buy a laptop sleeve. This is what I got: MOSISO Water Repellent Neoprene Sleeve Bag Cover Compatible with 13-13.3 inch laptop. I might have been able to squeeze an inch or two more out of it, but I think this was perfect for my 13 Dell Inspiron. Its not a high end protector, but it keeps away scratches and probably a few minor dings. 2) I think the canvas could have been waxed to make it firmer, and waterproof. I bought otter wax and it worked fine. 3) I really didnt like that faux leather label front and center. Not sure why they put it there since it is what it is, a cheap canvas bag. Its not like anyone is going to ask, Wow, is that a real S-ZONE bag? I took it off very easily with a stitch remover tool in a few minutes. If you have a sewing kit, you have one of these. 4) Maybe the biggest issue was the faux leather straps. Would be great if they were real leather, but you cant expect that in a bag at this price. Instead, they are shiny and stiff, which I think makes it look cheap. I spent time flexing the straps between my fingers. Not hard - I did it while I was watching TV so it was painless. Then I put some rubbing alcohol on a towel and rubbed them down for a few seconds to remove the shininess. Theyre still not leather, but theyre less noticeable. Otherwise, good deal, looks great, plenty of room for other things. Very happy with this purchase. Starting a new job this week, and Ill be happy to carry it on my shoulder.

This bag is super comfortable. The strap is thick enough to stay on my shoulder without slipping off but not to thick to the point where it’s cutting into my neck. The material all over the bag is sooooo soft but durable. I bought this bag for the color because I felt like it was versatile and trust me it is. My man friend loves this bag as well solely for the reason that he can walk around with it as well. I was a little apprehensive towards how deep this bag would be but was very surprised and happy to see that the bag fits my cpu, notebooks, books, and charger case very comfortably with room to spare. Great purchase and would recommend to anyone!

This bag is phenomenal. The leather is thick and feels great, the fittings are solid heavy metal and the stitching seems really rugged. I have been using it as a briefcase and backpack for business and grad school, but it its rugged enough to get some heavier use as well. I have noticed light scratching and wear on the clasps, but that is to be expected from daily use. The patina on the leather picks up scuffs pretty easily, but in my opinion this only makes the bag look better, because it gives it a really genuine used look. If they do bother you though, just apply some leather polish or water proofing, this darkens the bag up nicely and gives it a fresh new patina. My recommendation is that when you do this, take a hair dryer and warm the leather up so it opens the pores up and accepts the polish or proofing better.

I purchased this a while back and just started using it consistently and I love it. It is pretty big and the strap is adjustable it has multiple compartments including one for ur laptop, and it comes in handy. I would repurchase for sure.

This is not our first piece from s-zone. I bought this as a new bag for work. It looks very vintage and stylish and can hold everything that I need. I’ve gotten various compliments on the bag, however, upon receiving the bag, it had a minor defect on the strap. We reached out to the company about doing an exchange for a replacement. They were very responsive and courteous. After discussion about the minor defect (and conveying to their production team), they asked to send us a new bag for our inconvenience. They really did not have to and I am so grateful for their generosity. We will continue to look for products from them.
