> 3 dayAs a bladesmith, I use a 12 disc sander for a lot of my processes. I have a big Grizzly grinder, and it has TORQUE! I ordered these because Id used PSA discs from Harbor Freight and had reasonable luck with them. These were less expensive, so I tried them. I clean the grinding disc thorough between discs to get all of the adhesive off, so I was suprised when the disc just totally let go while grinding. To my surprise, I found that the sanding disc had basically given up on the adhesive, which was all still stuck to my grinder. So, I had to clean all of THAT off, and try again. Disc after disc, the result was the same. Under the pressure of use, the adhesive just gives up off of the paper backing, leaving a goopy mess to scrape and clean up. I wouldnt use these again if they were a gift. To be fair, though, the abrasive grit seemed to work well, although I wonder if it wouldnt suffer the same type of adhesive failure and just wear off immediately. I never used one long enough to see, unfortunately.

> 3 dayI rated the adhesion 5 not because it sticks super type but because it comes off easily. It will peel at the edge a bit over time but as soon as you use it it is fine. I have had some that required scraping and acetone to remove them. I much prefer these. from some of the previous comments I was not expecting as good of performance as they provide. I use it on mostly pine some oak and some aluminum. Works on all.
