These were pretty loud and the flashlight very bright. Based on some reviews I tested them when the package was delivered and all but two worked. My advice is to test before gifting and test periodically to make sure theyre still in working condition. Its possible the batteries in those two are dead as the flashlights do not work either, but I havent had the time to replace them to test this theory.

If you’ve ever felt unsafe in a situation that requires outside help in an emergency, this small device is just great. The sound that it emits once the plug is pulled, is an extremely loud noise. I gave one to each of my loved ones that I felt could use this device for personal safety.
