Safety 1st Outsmart All-Purpose, Multi Use Strap, Four Pack, White

This is a great product and fool proof for toddlers and sometimes adults.

I have tried about 4 different types of saftey straps but my husband and I keep coming back to this one. We absolutely love these straps. Super easy to install and use. I have a four year old and 14 month old. Both kids were able to destroy all the other straps but not these. My 4 year old knows how to put these together but doesnt quite have the pincher grip to undo them yet, which is great for keeping him safe. My 14 month tries pulling on them but the adhesive doesnt bust like the other brands I tried. When our fridge one came undone after 3 years of use, my husband just replaced the adhesive and it has lasted another year. They also dont leave any damage when removing them, as we used them in an apartment. Just make sure to clean and fully dry your surface before applying the adhesive. We have been searching stores for these but they always seem out.

I bought these as a replacement for the same model, which I purchased four years ago. The latch, which I used on my refrigerator door, finally gave out. Considering that out refrigerator gets opened and closed at least ten times per day, thats about 15,000 latchings and unlatchings before it finally broke. This works best when the two pieces are mounted around a corner from each other. I tried putting one on my pantry door, with one end attached to the door and the other end attached across the trim, on the wall. That didnt hold well at all. Hints - 1. The end thats attached to the strap is on a swivel, and will drop down and away from the door when unlatched. This is a great feature. Make sure you have room for it to fall and dangle freely. 2. The adhesive is very strong. Make sure you have it lined up where you want it before sticking it on. You wont get a second chance.

I ordered the safety first fridge lock, but I received the safety first cabinet lock which wont work on my fridge.

Some toilet bowls are curved all the way. I was hoping the adhesive was strong enough to hold where it made contact with he bowl. Unfortunately it did not. And according to customer service the adhesive is not replaceable. So they dont sell replacement tape for it, which is silly and wasteful. Ill have to find replacement tape on my own.

This lock is amazing! I have been so satisfied with this lock, I have actually purchased two of them. No more little ones opening the refrigerator door and helping themselves to something they shouldn’t have!

It literally keeps our 17 months little man safe from finding treasure adventure. Oh!! Caution!!!!!! Never ask husband to remove it. I’m attaching a picture of my husband’s beautiful workmanship. Use hair dryer for 30 seconds to melt the tape and patiently remove it with a knife with wife.

I wasnt sure about this at first and if it was worth the money but it is and it is amazing!! Keeps my 2 year old out of the fridge and thats why I purchased it. considering buying more
