> 3 dayI havent used this to remove old caulking. I tried to used it at the base of my tub where the builder had used grout to join the base of the tub to the tile. I had no luck removing the old grout from the area. I put new caulk at the base of the tub and spread it with this tool. It worked ok, but I dont know if it worked any better than using my finger to smooth the caulk. I still needed to smooth it with my finger. The tool is a good idea, and Ill try it agin on other projects, but it feel really light and not very sturdy. The ergonomics arent quite there yet.

> 3 dayOverall pretty decent tool for caulking jobs. The metal edge is the best part of it. Huge mistake to make the scraper out of plastic. Its pretty useless being plastic. Shouldve designed it with a durable metal edge, or even standard interchangeable razor blades. The smoothing edge should lock in and out of place better as its too easy to accidently slide it. The smoothing edge works pretty well, but you could just get a cheap little one for much cheaper that works the same. Its overpriced at $20. I wouldnt pay more than $15 for this. Ideally its only worth $10.

> 3 daySeems cheaper and the slide mechanism is too loose and doesn’t stay in place

> 3 dayI’ll begin with its size and comfort in your hand. It’s smaller than expected which made it harder to hold and with the underside being totally open it is hard to get a firm grip without the sharp edges of the multiple pieces digging into your hand. It’s also difficult to exert enough pressure to remove tough chaulk. The V-shaped metal end it fairly effective but the plastic scraper end is basically useless. It lost its edge quickly and left black marks on the tub. So now it will not scrap anything. The white silicone tips are about as good as any other tools of its kind. Bottom line, I’m not impressed and it will be returned.
