I love this pen, but unfortunately like others have said, they dried up quickly. My pack of three only lasted a couple of weeks.

I needed some archival pens and these seem to fill the criteria.

These pens are wonderful for fine detailed work and are waterproof. I enjoy them for both writing in journals and artwork.

I love pens. I am pen-obsessed. When I started bullet journaling this year, I tried out all kinds of pens. Eventually I settled on the Sakura Pigma Micron pens because I loved how smoothly they wrote even when using a pretty fine tip. I used to use Staedtler triplus fineliners, but I guess I press down pretty hard when I write. Long before the ink would run out I would have worn the tip down so much it would only write if I held the pen at a 90 degree angle to the paper. The Micron pens held up better, but I could tell I still needed to be careful. Then I saw a reference to the Micron pens with plastic nibs to help with exactly this issue! And I am in LOOOOVE! You get the same high-quality ink with a tip that can withstand my heavy writing hand. My search for the perfect pen may be over! Keep in mind that the pen to paper feeling is a little rougher than with the regular felt-tip Microns. And if you like a superfine point (like .38) this pen only comes in one size, the 0.45 mm. But the result feels closer to a superfine point pen, in a good way, at least for me. I havent had any problems with leaking, and all the pens in the package appear to work fine. I used one at a conference where I took lots of notes and the pen performed wonderfully. I couldnt be more satisfied.
