> 3 dayThe is a very nice watercolor set, the color are vibrant and non-chalky. The only two things that I dislike is that the 72 color pack does no allowed the top to connect to the watercolor plate. The other one is that the shimmering colors don’t have any pigment to them. Other than that this watercolor set is great to travel with and for someone who wants more colors in the a set without having to spend 100s of dollars. The photos that I have posted show the set with the two brushes and A drawing I made with the watercolors. Also the watercolor plate seems a little dirty is because I have already used it.

> 3 daybeautiful colors, super easy to use, the pen is a little difficult to get the hang of but with some practice it’ll manage; I absolutely love these paints and am probably going to buy a pan for my sister.

> 3 dayGreat colors and saturation for this adult new watercolor painter. Im new to watercolor, and am doing it for hobby and stress relief. I never knew watercolor could be so...relaxing. I used a different watercolor paint set, but those were cheap and chalky. I thought Id give the Koi a try, and these are perfect for me. Ive been using my professional artist brushes with them, typically a round 6-8-10, and they work well. These make a great purchase, and the case and all thats in it should have a rating of 10-stars.

> 3 dayWatercolor is not my forte, but this set makes me want to do it more and more. The pigments are vibrant and lay down very smoothly, and the color selection is more than enough to mix any color you need and then some. Each color reacts almost right as water hits the pan, though the half-pans are quite small. I dont find their size to be particularly annoying since they are nicely spaced out from each other, but some may. Im not the biggest fan of water brushes in general and I tend to use a regular brush instead, but the one that came with this ser works just fine. The pegs that hold the mixing pallet to the side are extremely useful, and its plenty big to mix a good quantity of the color you need. I like that there is room in the lid to hold the piece youre working on or, in my case, a swatch sheet of all the colors. The little sponge is okay, its just a sponge. My only complaint about these is that some of the paints dry with flecks of color in them, which dont brush off but remain stuck in the paint. It isnt a huge concern of mine because its barely noticeable, especially if you go over the area again, but its just something I noticed when working with these. They can also come out to be a bit streaky/splotchy if you arent careful with them, though that could just be my beginner mistake. Overall these are super fun to use! I find myself more drawn to watercolors than I have been in the past, and I definitely recommend them to anyone figuring out if they like the medium or wanting a good hobby paint!

Greater than one weekLet me just say - this is wonderful for the price. If youre doing works you dont want to fade, I would suggest scanning them and saving the file. It is a bit chalky compared to cotman watercolors, but not terribly noticeable. A+ for portability and vibrancy.
