> 24 hourIn my personal opinion, these are some of the best line work markers out there. Especially if you need to do a bunch of fine stippling in a drawing. Theyre consistent with ink flow and make nice clean lines. Bought a new set to get back into drawing a bit. As a designer, these are also great for doing basic line work for comps for logos, etc or any other fine detail black and white hand drawn samples youre doing for clients/work.

> 24 hourSakura pigma micron pens are great pens for artists and they have permanent ink that do not fade or smudge. The set of 10 comes with pens with different tips and fineness, as well as brush pens/markers. This is a pack of GRAY pens, not black.

> 24 hourWhen I read a few months ago that these were being released, I kept looking for them, but couldnt find them. Im so glad theyre finally available! I use Sakura Pigma Microns (in black) for urban sketching and line-and-watercolor work, and have always counted on the fact that the marks will not budge on the paper, no matter how much water I use, or how many layers I put down. This gray set is no different in that regard. I always felt the black was a little too present, and that tones of gray would be nicer to work with... and these are, for my use. I used the darker gray for the outline and the lighter gray for the shading; I shouldve reversed that for this example - which I did with the size 05s - but it was just a quick doodle, and you get the idea. There was no budging when I added the watercolor, and the line tone is much more subtle than black. I hope at some point the gray pens will be available in the 005 size, as thats my favorite to work with. These would be lovely to use for pen and ink techniques as illustrated in the manufacturers photos, and will give artists an additional edge in terms of tones/shading. Just as good as the originals. Glad theyre finally here.

> 24 hourThe colors are in gradient shades from light grey to black with pen point-sizes .25mm, .45mm, .60mm and two of the ten Micron pens in this set have brush tips. The pens uses archival ink and fine tips permit great precision in drawing and writing. While not cushioned or ergonomically shaped they are sized so they are comfortable to hold—not too big or too thin. The pens have pocket clips and the top clicks definitively in place so no question it is closed. Excellent.

> 24 hourThese are my favorite pens as they come in a wide variety of tips and have a long life. While these are waterproof - they do say they are not made for going through the washing machine. I do use mine to write on tags and they last for about 11 months of going through the washer. 10 pen set includes 1 each of 4 points sizes in Light Cool Gray and Cool Gray: Micron 01 - 0.25 mm, Micron 05 - 0.45mm, Micron 10 - 0.60mm fineliner pens and Pigma Brush + Micron 05 & Micron 10 in GRAY ink. Pigma pigment based ink is waterproof, chemical and fade resistant, bleed free, quick drying and pH neutral. Pigma ink colors are derived from single pigment colors for color consistency. Non-Toxic Long lasting No bleeding Works well for watercolors as it will not bleed when wet! Fair price

> 24 hourI love the Sakura Microns and use them all the time for line and watercolor. Sometimes I let the ink dry overnight first before adding watercolors so they dont bleed. But this is my number one ink product for art.

> 24 hourIve used black Sakura Pigma Micron pens in the past, but I have never tried any of their gray pens. I am really happy with this set - the formula and quality are just like I would expect from the brand, and none of them are dried out or damaged. I appreciate the range of sizes included for each color too, including the two brush pens for shading with the gray tones. I would definitely recommend this set, either for yourself or as a gift for an artist (amateur or trained!). Microns were some of the first tools I used in my college art programs, and they really are some of my favorite pens. Id highly recommend them.
