Love this pen.Arrived in great condition.

Work as good as any other Sakura pen I’ve had! My fav pens, just can’t push too hard, or the tip will get pushed into the pen.

Only two of these actually put lines down on paper; the other four either left faint, spectral scratches or wouldnt mark at all. Id like to say this was a fluke but Ive purchased packs of Micron pens from both Michaels and Hobby Lobby in the past year and I had the same problem with those as well. I was hoping that Amazon would sell enough of these to keep fresh inventory on hand but no such luck. I think the problem is with the design itself moreso than age. The cap is open at the top and the body of the pen is open around the plastic tube that holds the metal ferrule that holds the tip, presumably allowing the solvent to escape straight into the atmosphere. I took pliers to one of my pens and, sure enough, the sponge thingy inside was almost as dry as the tip when pressed onto paper. Incidentally, I have an 03 Itoya that I bought in 2009 that STILL lays ink. Neither it nor its cap have holes in them. Go figure.

I have used only these pens for years in making watercolor/pen and ink cards. They are dependable, and I appreciate the range of nibs available.

All the markers were dried out. Ordered again because my daughter loves these for outlining her drawings and the second pack was dried out as well. I will have to drive to our craft store instead to buy.

As a college student, I had been searching for a pen that would make my handwriting look neat while taking notes in a lecture. I stumbled across these pens at a local Walmart and decided to pick one up and I LOVE IT. It is the only pen that I use to write, now. It presents my handwriting well too, its very neat and doest smear either which is awesome. If you use a yellow highlighter, it may smear just a tad but any other color wont cause it to. The other sizes are great as well for headings or titles (specifically for note taking). Definitely BUY!!

The first order arrived dry. Very little ink. Too little ink to sign a letter. I had it replaced. The second order arrived dry. I have returned it for a refund. I have used these pens in the past and liked them, but Ill never buy them again.
