> 3 dayThey work pretty good as a quick light rust removal or cleaning brush. They definitely dont do as much as a wire brush, but are useful when you want to be slightly less aggressive or are working with a softer material. Overall 9/10.

> 3 daySet of three styles, each with 3 different bristle hardness. From the look and feel, they should last a while, far longer than some others I have used. Cleaner than sanding and just as effective for prepping for painting. Quite a bargain vs buying them separately from the local big box.

> 3 dayI used these in a drill press to clean off a putty knife and an aluminum strap. They work well and the hex shanks fit securely in the chuck. I wouldnt mind if they had round shanks that would fit in a die grinder. They come in 3 sizes / types and 3 grits so they have a lot of uses. I found the grey brushes to be the course grit, red was medium and blue was fine. You can see the difference in the bristle size also. They held together well and did a good job of removing rust. At about $2.50 each they are a fair deal. They worked well and I recommend them.

> 3 dayThis set of useful sanding tools contains brushes of three different sizes and three different roughnesses. These robust brushes are made of twisted steel wire coated with different colored nylon and abrasive grit. In normal restoration, work is started with the largest and roughest tool that is applicable and proceeds to the finer and smaller tool to clean up scratches made earlier. Abrasive roughness is graded on a scale of the screen mesh that would pass the stated grit. Coarse construction sand is 40 grit and auto repair finish is created with 400 grit. The normal order of usage of these tools would be grey brush, 80 grit, red brush, 120 grit followed by blue brush 240 grit. In practice these brushes cut more aggressively than labeled because the bristle tips have fine steel wire projecting from the ends of the plastic covering. As the plastic wears off, the effective grit approaches single digits. The hex shaft is particularly handy as it fits into flex shaft tools. The hex shaft allows counter clockwise rotation without loosening the chuck. I plan to continue using these brushes for restoration of steel auto and boat parts. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayTL;DR; plastic abrasive like rubber abrasive with mild to medium action. Good quality US standard Hex shaft. For use in farming operation and metal shop. Good quality and feel 3 sizes of nylon materials Small type are 1” diameter Cone and wheel type are 3” diameter The wheels are made with some type of steel alloy - somewhat magnetic. Speed max 4500 RPM and they fit US/North American standard quick coupler Handled well with drill; tried to polish off rust of an old peice, didn’t do much to the rusty finish Light blue are small strand Red are medium and grey are largest. Nothing to dislike however we need to find an application for these. They remind me of rubber abrasives which in a machine shop or metal fab shop can be indispensable for lighter abrasive needs. Brush configurations are great for getting into tight corners but these nylon brushes won’t remove heavy rust very well. For that steel wire brushes or even more abrasive options are better. Far more than a polish but much less than a wire brush in aggressiveness. See pictures. No real complaints. 5 Stars but note application. Check out the other Vine reviews there are some household applications I didnt try.

Greater than one weekThese work pretty good. The nylon bristles are very stiff. They definitely have different stiffness levels for the different brushes. They remove debris well. They aren’t quite the same as far as performance compared to a wire brush but close. They also have a huge plus side, they are much easier to handle without getting poked and losing blood :). These do work well. I don’t think I would replace my traditional wire brushes, but complement them with these. These definitely deserve a place in your tool line up.

> 3 dayThree different grits and three different sizes which gives you lots of versatility for many at home projects. I have several summer projects that need the paint stripper and these look perfect. They also look sturdy so will hold up well. Easy to use, too.
