Great Item

Just as described. I folded this Sam splint up to put in a small first aid kit for the atv.

This is a great must-have for emergency first aid kits.

I took a wilderness first aid class designed by the BSA and Red Cross. The instructors trained us to use these. I havent taken mine out of the plastic wrap yet (thankfully), but the one we use in the class was the same. I was amazed at how sturdy something that light was.

very happy to have this in my first aid bag.

I cut it to fit and was able to wrap it around my foot to help a fracture and 2 broke toes heal. The padding will peel off when you apply surgical tape to it but I was still able to get several uses out of it. Plus all kinds of splints can be made with this. wonderful

Flexible and easy to use. These should be a part of every back country first aid kit. They beat the hell out of an improvised splint when the first responder is stressed out and the patient is in pain.

I used these during 2 tours in Iraq. These are a must for any first aid kit. They can be shaped to immobilize any limb, even fingers if needed. They are very strong and can be re-used, or can be cut to size if needed to.
