This music editing program is pretty straight-forward. I like the he fact that it comes with a both a DVD and downloadable option for installation. I chose the former using an external DVD drive I keep handy to pair with my laptop which doesnt have a built-in one. Once up and running the program was easy to learn; instructions are clear but the program is intuitive enough so the learning curve isnt terribly steep. Those new to music editing should keep this in mind in considering which software to invest in. Whats particularly good about this software is its range of options and features making it something of an all-in-one option. The retail price is reasonable. So far there are not only no major criticism I can offer about this program, there arent even many improvements I can think of for it.

This music studio has everything that I need. It was easy to install onto my computer. Very simple to use as well. I am a beginner but this software makes music so easy.

Im old school, but have just started playing around with software. This came as a cd in a cardboard case. This software was fairly easy to install. Installation took a little time, but I didnt have any problems during the installation. Once its installed, I played around with the program and got a feel for it. Its easy to learn and use. I would definitely recommend this for anybody just starting out with software.

I had been using another product that is no longer supported by the manufacturer so I was eager to give this DAW a try. Please keep in mind that my use cases are pretty limited to recording guitars and some drums on rare occasions. For both these use cases, this DAW was very intuitive and very easy to use.

This is quite good for beginners that arent looking to heavily invest in other softwares right off the bat. It definitely can do the job, and does it quite well, as its not too complicated or confusing. The interface was honestly probably the biggest learning curve, but I find thats fairly standard for any particularly unfamiliar program. I had no issues running or installing the program.

This software is pretty cool. I got it for my students to try and make some stuff at school. They had no problem installing it and using it to create music and sound effects on projects. They all agreed they liked it a lot.

Nice program for beginners. Its easy to set up and use. Its not my go to but I dont have any complaints.

I use reaper but on occasion find myself in the universe of other DAWs. This one is not bad and offers a lot of neat features and tools that should appeal to users starting out and who need a decent set of stock plugins and features.

Anyone looking for a start in the digital recording should find what they need with this software. The included effects and instruments are better than the ones that come with most other DAWs. There is a bit of a learning curve with this DAW but included in the package are many videos in addition to the ones located on the Samplitude website that will help you get started. The only con is that you can’t record multiple tracks at the same time, so live recording is out. But even without the multiple track recording, it’s still a very good DAW at a good price.
