Samsonite Winfield 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels (Artic Pink, 2-Piece Set (20/28))

Bought this set in January for a trip to Europe in April. The first time I used the large suitcase, the inside zipper that closes off one side of the suitcase and secures items….didn’t work. Now when I try to zip the side closed, the zipper remains open. No straps on the inside on the that side of the suitcase, so no way to secure items in place. Every time you open the suitcase, items tumble out. Because I am past the thirty day return/exchange window…I am ineligible to exchange it! Seriously disappointed! I bought a name brand because I wanted the guarantee of good quality. First time used and it is broken!!!

These suitcases look great and are very durable, but the smooth glossy surface scratches easily. After just ONE trip, the suitcases have scratches all over them. I have another Samsonite suitcase with a textured case and wish I could go back and order a set with the textured finish instead. Case aside, they hold a ton and the zippered compartment on one side and the straps on the other keep everything from sliding around. The wheels roll nicely, the handle slides up and down smoothly, and the lock for the zipper is easily set and zippers click in with little effort. This is would be the perfect suitcase if it just didn’t scratch so easily.

I got the 20/28, I thought that both expanded but only the 28 expands. The 20 is pretty small. The color differs from the pictures. They seem to be durable but won’t know till I take them on a flight. I did find that they scuff very, very easily on a short trip. If I had to do it over again I wouldn’t purchase.

Have not used yet, but quality is very good. It was covered in plastic to make sure it arrived without dings or scratches. TSA locks attached are great. Looking forward to taking them on a trip!

The only erk is that the small one is really small. You can barely fit many things in there. It does the trick and the design and colour are very elegant.

This luggage set looks very nice and easily protects breakable items if packed decently. I usually pack quite a few glass bottles from trips I take along with quite a few other breakable items. I also pack my cases to the max, sometimes 70 lbs. These suitcases did their job and kept my items safe. The zippers are well made and help with expanding. The only knock I can give it is YES, it scratches very easily. Even after the first trip it has quite a few scuffs and superficial scratches. I would buy again, however, if caught on sale.

Bought this for a weekend trip to Nashville. Lightweight, holds a lot, easy to maneuver and carry on fits nicely in overhead storage. Only downside is that it scratches easily and (of course) shows up easily on pink finish.

Love the color and how light weight the suitcases are. Have not used for traveling yet.
