Very easy to install. Much faster start times and more responsive computer. Feels like a whole new computer.

I just got a Samsung TV after a cheaper brand burned out after 18 months. So being happy with that, I went for this slightly-pricey SSD. It works fine. Reviews online said it was among the fastest drives out there, even though the competitors are major memory-chip makers. (Shouldnt competent memory chip people know how to make great SSD drives?) But a big plus for Samsung is supposed to be their invincible data migration software, which is unique to them. And Im cloning my old HDD, so its an easy choice. But it wasnt simple to get my multiple drives to boot Windows 10 to run the Samsung duke-le-duke software. I ultimately used Clonezilla (open source) on a flash drive to get things booting correctly. (Copying an entire hard drive to a new SSD is mega tedious.) Unintentionally, Ive become more comfortable with Linux stuff. Who knew? Still, a good solid SSD from maybe the biggest name in the field. P.S. What the heck is sheerness of an SSD?

I used it to replace my laptops Hard Drive. After the replacement, the laptop now works much faster, like magic.

Best way to speed up your computer. Used to turn it on and go get coffee. Now turn it on and it is up and running in 15 seconds. Transfering large files is incredibly fast. Running scans that used to take twenty minutes now take 2 or 3 minutes. No need to defrag anymore. No moving parts.

I have been buying the EVO series since they vame out and havent had a single problem. They are fast and run cool. All around its a great SSD.

The cloning software from Samsung SUCKS It cloned the data but the drive wouldnt boot havent taken the time to get different software so the drive is sitting on the shelf. Have no doubt the drive is ok and will preform fine once I get it cloned. The 3 stars is for the software performance.

Love Samsung SSDs, Ive bought at least a dozen of them, including 970 m.2 pcie NVME drives. Never a problem, and their data migration software is the best.

It was easy to install. When I remove the old one, i compare it with the old one and it was the exact same size
