Samsung 870 EVO 500GB SATA 2.5 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-77E500)

This is the fourth samsung evo ssd i have purchased. They always work well.

Computer runs much faster since installation. Very pleased.

The product is very good and working just fine but one main issue I have was that I only received 930 GB in stead of 1TB. This is my first time buying ssd so I’m not so sure what’s going on or whether it has something to do with the computer too but the storage is only 930 for me.

I upgraded my old laptops HDD with this one and it was definitely worth it. The bootup time has reduced a lot with under 30 sec startup times(was more than 2 mins). And the Magician software was definitely a big help in data migration. Few points to know before you buy this: Check the compatibility thoroughly(size, connection type(SATA), etc.) You would need a SATA to USB cable for the migration process. Be careful about the screws when changing drives. (gave me some hard time)

Go for it. No doubt it is great.

Used this SDD in iMac 2015, it worked awesome. iMac is working at lightening speed.

Works great, Samsung software is added value as well for cloning and managing storage and the device.

Very good performance specially for old laptops. Gives a extra boost for boot up fast. Highly recommended.

Ive installed several of these ssds in my familys and a few friends laptops over the years, they never give me an issue, and with Samsungs free drive-copying software (found on their website), it makes swapping over the drive extremely easy! Note, you will need a usb hard drive case or adapter to do so. Always a great speed upgrade for older laptops/notebooks that still have old mechanical drives.
