My PlayStation hard-drive started to fail I installed this now it fixed my problem and improves my performance better than factory.

I installed this in the caddy of an ACEPC minipc after migrating the operating system from the internal 128 GB SATA M.2. The computer ran very fast for about an hour and then froze up. I snapped off the top and touched the top of the Samsung hard drive and it was almost too hot to touch! So I immediately placed a USB fan on it and allowed it to cool. As long as the fan is blowing on the top of the hard drive it runs perfectly at around 94 degrees Fahrenheit. I now have a miniature USB thermometer and attached the miniature probe to the top of the SSD to monitor its temperature. So beware of overheating in a completely enclosed environment.

After some time trying to figure this out this is what you need to know. Im sure already knew this but it would have been nice to know before purchasing the SSD.

Ive probably had this installed three weeks tops and Im already having issues with files disappearing and I still have 1.37 TB left of the 2 it came with... File locations that cannot be located when I try to launch or cannot be uninstalled because the file doesnt exist but also cant be reinstalled either bc its already installed. Im disgusted. I just dont get how they can keep selling these and its destroying peoples data. I was stupid enough to fall for it bc its samsung but its a piece of garbage.

Works as expected. The external case is not included with the SSD.

Samsung SSD drives are quality plus drives. I really like them.

I cloned my HDD over to this recently and everything went smoothly. It works well in my PC and runs w out error.
