Works as expected.

Went from a 1TB hard drive to this 4TB SSD. It was easy to install since it used the same connections. My load times went from minutes to seconds. It now takes me an average of 10-15 seconds from when I push my power button to when I’m actually on my desktop opening apps. Was one of the best things I’ve bought for my computer.

Product is easy to install and it works. But once you turn it off, the only way to turn it on again is restarting your Mac or unplugging the hub and plugging it again. I tried to install the Samsung Magician software but all I get is a note that says that the software won’t work with Mac OS, as it is designed to work with Windows ONLY.

Ive installed this in a media server where it will primarily be used for reading, not writing, so I suspect I should get a decent lifespan out of it. But inherently I have had issues with other Samsung products failing early, so, Im not all that confident how this will perform in the long run. For this server build, it was the highest-rated and lowest-cost of the SSDs I compared. No issues at all with performance. I didnt think disk access speed would make a difference over a network, but it does. Very pleased with the results of this build.

Bought this ssd for my Xbox one s cause my hard drive stop working was throwing error codes. Super easy to install took xbox apart removed old hard drive and replaced with ssd. You also need to do a offline update were you download it to a flash drive off your computer pretty easy to do. If your using for Xbox make sure you get the same size hard drive as you have if you dont you have to reformat on computer looks pretty complicated.

I have an HP computer with windows 10 and its 5 years old, my old hdd 2 terabyte hard drive was about as fast.. this ssd is a little faster but not much, the sound really improved I stream TV and listen to music and the sound really improved that is the reason it got 3 stars.....the picture on TV is not as good I was told I need to upgrade video card so it might get another star when I upgrade the video card......I am hoping the upgrades will give me another 5 years out of the computer.....I was advised to buy a new computer with SSD so I am taking a chance
