> 3 dayI bought this as a means to test. I will be building a new High AMD Gaming rig and do recommend the Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series PCIe NVMe - M.2. it shows a speed less then what it really can do my Motherboard has no NVMe - M.2 Slot so it is installed to a QNINE NVME Adapter. both work well together later the Samsung 970 EVO Plus in my new rig will be my boot and a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB or 2TB for games. Good Luck

Greater than one weekI spent all night try to use the Samsung data migration software to clone my old drive to the this one. It all comes up to fail when it reaches to 99%. I wouldnt recommend the software so I use isumsoft clone for it. Now everything works fine.

> 3 dayThis is not a hit against the product itself but more about Samsung integration. I purchased a Samsung Book 2 360 Pro. Since it only came with a 512Gb SSD, I wanted to upgrade from the start. As this was a Samsung SSD, I thought it would be the best choice. The physical installation was not an issue as it was very simple to install. However, the Samsung Data Migration software did not work. It would not recognize this SSD as a Samsung product and would not allow for the migration from the existing SSD to the new SSD. I was able to use a 3rd party software product but spent countless hours trying to figure it out.

> 3 dayWhen this NVMe went down in price on sale for around $130 I couldnt resist grabbing it. Its the fastest PCIe Gen 3 NVMe available and consistently puts up speeds of 3500mbps read and 3300mbps write. I couldnt be happier, I immediately cloned my WD SN750 drive to this and have been using this as my primary drive even though the WD SN750 is in the main slot because of how it looks with its built in EKWB heatsink. I strongly recommend this to anyone whos running an Intel 10th gen system, its the fastest you can actually use, and to anyone trying to save a few bucks on Ryzen from getting Gen 4.

07-06-2025This 1Tb was to replace a 500Gb M.2 (same brand, same model, just different capacity). It had Windows 10 installed and I just could not find a software solution to clone it. I had to buy (on Amazon) a hardware M.2 cloning device and it worked well.
