> 3 dayFirst off its not as fast as the Hynix P41 so if theyre at a similar price Id get that one. I have both in my system. That said its likely faster than you will ever need. While in theory the fast transfer speeds as outlined in CrystalDisk, for photo and 4K video editing Ive never really gone past a few hundred MB/s so its all overkill. Im mainly using this drive for paging files and cache and eventually to store video projects Im actively working on before I move them back to HDDs for storage.

Greater than one weekI have had a SSD in my gaming rig for a good long while. When the time came to upgrade I decided to get a M.2 drive and this one popped up. Installation was a breeze and most motherboards support the socket these cards need to take advantage of the increased boot speeds youll get replacing an older mechanical hard drive. I use this primarily as a OS boot drive and have my game installs located on another. Performance is there and I can see the difference verses older technology. Very happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayPurchased this product for the PS5. Heard about firmware issue. Saw recent youtube by Jayztwocents who showed that if drive is manufactured in Vietnam in Dec 22, then it already has the latest firmware which corrects the issue of corruption-this issue appears to apply to drives manufactured in 21 in Korea. The drive I received from Amazon was manufactured in Vietnam in Dec 2022. I did not bother to check firmware. Very easy to install with second party heatsink. PS5 reported read speed of 6667mps. I have no regrets purchasing this drive.

Greater than one weekMy PC has an old Asus AMD M5A99FX MB (but no onboard M.2 slots). So I bought a “AMPCOM M.2 NVME SSD to PCIe 4.0 Adapter Card” to allow me to put this NVMe in an available PCIe 2.0 x4 slot on the MB. Worked well as any disk should, in Win 11, but was not bootable (not the problem of the SSD or the adapter card) this was an issue with the old BIOS, which did not support booting a NVMe type of drive. The fix is getting an upgraded BIOS (not available on the MB manufacture BIOS updates site). Solution - I bought a “ BIOS patched for NVMe booting” and problem is solved. Even on my PCIe 2.0 backplane I got a significant bump in performance, see attached pictures, with all related info.

> 3 dayYeah, yeah, yeah. Everybody has the fastest NVME. Yeah...well THIS bad boy moves data like crazy....Copying 600gb and it never dropped below 500mb a second. What would normally take so long you go eat breakfast and come back to see how far its gone....this was done in 5 minutes!!! I for sure would buy this again!!!!

> 3 dayLittle bit overly priced, but it’s got that Samsung name tied to it. Does the job as described.
