> 3 dayI watched a few YT videos on installing this and it was a breeze. I kept this on my wish list until the 2TB version dropped to $149.95 and with a gift card I snagged it at a killer price.

> 3 dayIve bought this drive (without heatsink) 3rd time already. The first one was for my PC, installed easily and moved operating systems (I had to recover Ubuntu though, as disk ID was changed. Windows moved without issue).

> 3 dayFirst things to do after installing is to download Samsung Magician and be sure to update the firmware to the most up-to-date version! People have experienced issues with these SSDs but a firmware update will prevent them. Youll likely receive this SSD with the updated firmware already, but it is quick and easy to check so do yourself a favor. After all of that is done, enjoy the quick speeds of these beasts!

> 3 dayInstalled on my PS5. The heat sink thing confused me but I bought the 2T one with heat sink and it’s all one piece I think. I just plugged in and followed YouTube instructions and have had zero problems. Recognized immediately as Soon as I turned on my ps5. Moved 80% of my games over. Took just a few minutes. I haven’t had it long, but I don’t foresee any problems. Exactly as expected and working well. No problems do far.

> 3 dayI had one of these in my gaming laptop and it was great. For my more stout gaming rig I went with the rocket q4 because they had slightly better read/write speeds.. and well.. regretted my purchase within 6 or so months. The benchmark speeds from day 1 were awful and no amount of tweaking with their software could fix it. The biggest issue is for whatever reason the MBR kept getting corrupt (sabrent kept saying it was a software problem and not a hardware problem and refused to warranty it) and locked the computer up. That meant every couple weeks or so I needed to reformat the drive, reinstall windows completely from a boot drive (because windows couldnt fix the problem on its own). Which meant i lost all my data as well (mostly games that I had to re-download, and partly because i was lazy and didnt connect my sata backup up, but still frustrating either way). I decided to go with this drive again for the rig and it was night and day different. Benchmarks were way better, faster boot, and havent had to reinstall windows again! Knew I should have went with this to begin with.
