The overall experience is good. I think the battery life can be improved.

Wife likes it. However, why would they not have an attachment or slot like earlier models for the pen. It should be a bigger version of the note 9. Fix the next model.

Highest quality everything

When given the opportunity to test drive Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S4 as an Insider, I didn’t expect it to become my dream tablet with many features setting it apart from the competition. The S Pen comes standard. With the S Pen you gain the ability to do things such as write notes, sign documents, or doodle directly on the screen. It’s pressure sensitive and incredibly accurate, but the greatest thing about the S Pen is that it just works without needing to be charged. Ever. The app selection exceeded my expectations. The productivity and social media apps I use every day look great, but what really stands out on the Tab S4 is multimedia. Video looks incredible with HDR support on the bright and colorful Amoled display, and with a 16:10 aspect ratio, movies are rich and immersive. What really surprised me was how great everything sounds. The Tab S4 has 4 AKG tuned speakers, plus Dolby Atmos support. Watching movies and listening to music on this tablet is an experience not to be missed. DeX equals productivity. Turning on DeX Mode lets your tablet function much like a PC. DeX lets you keep multiple windows open on the screen with a tool bar at the bottom. I was concerned that a tablet would struggle to run multiple tasks simultaniously, but here I am streaming music, surfing the web, answering email, and writing this review all at once without any issues. This tablet is a multitasker’s dream. Pair the Tab S4 with Samsung’s Book Cover Keyboard for a fully immersive PC-like experience. I never expected to enjoy the Tab S4 as much as I do, but it’s become my go-to device for reading, writing, watching video, and offering a more fun and enjoyable experience than I’ve ever had with a tablet.

Fantastic tablet until recently when the warranty expired (9 Months). Really loved this tablet but now it cannot connect with the Internet. A common problem when the WiFi is connected but he Internet is not available.

I love the fact I can watch a movie and have spectacular sound, I use the tablet mostly to play games and do odd jobs on the internet such as taking surveys, all of my personal life is on my tablet. This thing rocks! No need for a larger hd since everything is cloud based. The fact it has a built in Google Hub is awesome.

It just does not keep original timestamps when copying or synchronizing files, what turns it into a sort of encased gadget with a shipwrecked DEX. For heavy users, you must add a card reader and enjoy removing and returning the SD card from and to its slot each time you need to update or backup your work. For unsophisticated tasks, as transferring photos, you need a timestamp changer that brings EXIF data up. I was told that with the Oreo version this issue was solved, but it does not. Tablet plus book cover keyboard plus a good screen protector plus a 400 Gb SD card means close to one thousand dollars; too much indeed.

I purchased this tablet 3 months ago and waited to review it. I can officially say Im in love with it! I bought it to replace another Samsung tablet that only had 16gb of storage and I was running out of room. I use my tablets to read books, watch movies, surf the internet, email and check on my puppy cams at home. I have books on both Kindle and Nook and this tablet holds them all. I had previously read a post that said this tablet didnt support the Nook app however I downloaded it with no trouble and have been reading without issue. Movies from Netflix and Hulu play seamlessly and the quality is fantastic. Ive also read posts about the wifi connection dropping depending on how you hold the tablet but Ive not experienced this in the 3 months that Ive had it. All in all Im very pleased, it does everything I wanted and Ive got tons of room to store books, the battery life is exceptional. I typically only charge it every 2 or 3 days and I use it daily. I would highly recommend this tablet to anyone!
