Update 5/15/23: Ive been using this table for about a week now exclusively to access the MidJourney Discord server - and the tablet is perfect for that. Really glad I took a chance on this tablet.

During COVID lockdown, Ive discovered an app that permits those who enjoy singing to safely stay at home & sing with others across the globe. However, this app requires an actual 3.5mm jack on the tablet device in order to accommodate ear loopback feature so one can hear his/her own voices while singing, just like any recording artist while giving a concert.

I saw a couple of online reviews indicating the strength of this tablet was in its video quality bang for the buck in its price range. Since I primarily use it to watch online videos, that is exactly what I was looking for. The Galaxy Tab A8 does not disappoint! If you are gaming or running lots of apps, the processor speed may not be fast enough, but if you watch lots of YouTube and dont want to spend a lot of money, you should be very happy with this tablet. I gave it 5 stars for battery life even though I keep it plugged in all the time, only because I didnt want to give it a bad rating for something I havent tested. The touch screen works fine. The only gig I would give it is for not having a fingerprint pad, but for the price, I can live with typing in a PIN. Nice little tablet.

Tired of Samsung tablets and surprised of its high rating. Always problems, some while they were still under warranty, others after the warranty expired. Amazon Fires were bought around the same time last much longer and had few problems. From now on, I would buy only Amazon Fire tablets. No more overpriced, over-rated Samsung.

Sturdy tablet. Works great. Wished I had bought the 64 Gb instead but the 32 gb is great for the price.

Im a loyal Samsung owner, having upgraded to the newest Galaxy phone as it was recently released. As such, I wasnt disappointed with this tablet. The screen and graphics seem on par with my phone, and the battery lasts all day, with frequent intermittent use throughout the day. The touch screen reactivity is slightly delayed, but only barely noticeably. Ive tried an array of other Android tablets, and this is my favorite by far. I use it for playing mobile games and for reading, as well as normal web surfing. It has the best online connectivity Ive found to date. I definitely think this tablet is worth the price to me.
