OS is good, battery life is better than my phone, has expandable memory with SD slot which also has Sim card slot if you want an LTE connection. Only downside is the pen. The pen has to be facing a certain way to charge, tip pointed up towards the camera. If you flip it, it wont charge. And the magnet is not all that strong to hold the pen, so its easy to remove obviously but can get knocked off easily as well. There is a function that the tablet will let you know your pen is not connected and will remind you to put it back. However writing with the pen is fabulous, paper work is easy, and collecting signatures for work is nice when people can read what theyre signing. And it plays games with a controller. Thats a plus.

The tablet has a great performance. Battery last few days. Its great for the money. Its worth it.

Bought this for my daughter who loves to draw and do digital art (she earned all the money herself). She loves that she can now draw wherever she wants to and the battery lasts forever before she has to charge it. Internet browsing is really fast with Chrome (the Samsung proprietary browser is kinda sketchy so we put Chrome on it instead). As usual, Samsung knocks it out of the park with their screen. Everything looks amazing and crisp! The only downside we have found so far is that some applications arent as touch responsive in the arwa of the screen by the camera - that may have something to do with the magnetic pen holder being right on the back of the unit in that area. Easy enough workaround though, as my 12-year-old simply moves her drawing canvas around to avoid working in that area. Overall, a really nice tablet for the money. As an artist myself, i must say i am a bit jealous of my daughter for having this nice of a drawing pad! Kinda want one for myself now...

No, I dont have the blue light filter turned on. No, theres no option to change the white balance on the flagship-level S7. No, calibration apps dont fix the issue. No, Play Books doesnt fix the issue. No, a factory reset doesnt fix the issue. No, there is NO software update to fix this and Im pretty sure there never will be. And no, this isnt an issue with non-AMOLED screens. Its specifically a Samsung problem. White and black are not white and black, which leads me to believe there is some hard-coded blue light filter enabled (Samsungs blue light filter always just places an ugly orange overlay on everything.) Now you may be thinking just ignore it lol its still a good tablet the thing is, I NEED a tablet that has a screen as good as everyone keeps saying Samsungs screens are. I also NEED the passive EMR technology in the S Pen. This is my FIFTH attempt at buying a new Samsung tablet over the course of 2 years, and they ALL HAD YELLOW SCREENS!!! The colors are very obviously not correct, and I dont even have to compare it to my other devices to tell! Im not going to attempt buying from Samsung anymore, Im just going to accept the fact that Im never getting a decent screen from them, i.e. a screen as good as almost every other brand has. I hate having to draw without the passive-pen technology present in the S Pen, but Samsung refuses to give me a good screen, so I just have to go for one of those low-quality-active-pen brands.

Is as expected. Use it for knitting and stitching. Reading magazines and browsing.
