> 3 dayI was going to get the Ultra but decided to go with the Plus and trade up to the next gen Ultra when they come out. Although I may not do that now. This is the perfect size for travel. Amazing screen. Not a ton of bloatware. Really happy with this tablet!

> 3 dayWhile it worked, it was a fine tablet. Definitely not worth the money I paid for it, but it was a fine tablet. Then one day I picked it up from my desk, tried to turn it on, and it didnt. I figured maybe it was out of juice, so I plugged it in and let it sit for an hour. When I came back and tried it, it still wouldnt turn on. The thing is a $900 paperweight. It suffered no damage. It didnt get wet. It just flat out died.

Greater than one weekVery pleased with this tablet. It has a nice display and good sound. I got the Samsung keyboard to use with it. It has a lot of cool features and I am still learning what it can do!

Greater than one weekAt first the tablet was great BUT after a few days there were issues. The first was the tablet continuously updated for 2 weeks and finally stopped updating. The second is “ghost tapping.” In the middle of typing the screen jumps to something else. This happens ALL the time. If it just worked as it should it would be a great device. Photos are clear, screen image is crisp BUT not enough to keep the tablet.

> 3 dayWhen I got this tablet in July, I was desperate in getting a new tablet. I was tired of Apple messing me around. This has a big screen which I need for my poor eyesight. No matter what settings I put it in, it changes. I have it set to how I want my settings, dark, light, font, etc and it changes. You cant have it set for longer than 10 minutes. So if you get an Interruption, go back, youll come back to a black screen and reput in your passcode. That can be a pain. Im already looking for a different tablet that is not Apple.

> 3 dayMy poor old Samsung Tab A8 was getting old. It was also very slow. This new S8 is incredibly fast and outperforms my PC using an emulator for Android games. I was impressed. Im disappointed that Samsung is cheap and doesnt include a power plug. They only include an USB C to USB C cable. That meant an unexpected trip to Best Buy to find something quick to keep me going. I mean, come on..how hard would it be to just include that little power brick in the box? Still getting the feel of the tablet. I tend to have the tablet resting on my chest as I watch TV. I dont like that it bumps the bottom lip of the tablet and takes me out of my app. Other than that, I cant complain. I added in another 32 gig flash card but it really didnt need it since it has 256 gig of onboard storage. Should last me a long time. The stylis was a nice addition from my A8 since my fingers are larger.

> 3 daySo far I love this tablet. It is fast and does everything that I bought it for. The screen looks great. It is on the large size (that is why I bought it). If you wont miss the amoled screen and you think this one is too large then go with the S8. Specs are very similar and the battery life is much longer. My S8+ has a decent battery (makes it through most days) but does die quicker than some other tablets that I have. But, overall I think most people will really enjoy the S8+ as much as I do.
