Samsung Memory MB-MC512GA 512 GB Evo Plus Micro SD Card with Adapter

I absolutely LOVE this 512GB MicroSD card for my Samsung Galaxy S9+ smartphone!!! No more storage capacity issues for quite a while.

Liked that it was 512 gb, though by Motorola moto z3 only appeared to read 476 gb. Didnt like that the card failed twice by mid-September 2019 requiring reformatting from my phone. Cant say if it is my equipment, but Ive never had a problem with other phones and Samsung cards.

Corrupted After A Week. Lost Everything.

Received the card in what it looked like a legitimate samsung packaging. i open it and the pc shows 512gb exactly.. Which we all know the capacity is ALWAYS lower than the advertised number on the package by a little bit.... But on this one, the REAL MAX CAPACITY OF THE CARD I GOT WAS 158GB!!!!!! Which is the biggest RED FLAG. Yep i returned it.

This was not a fake card. Once it was delivered, I plugged it in, and it read around 478-ish GBs, which is a correct actual for a 512 listed card. I know that you have to be careful when buying these online because of fakes, but this one was not. My Surface Pro read it just fine, and I no have enough space on my tablet to last for a while.

I was hesitant finding out my card was shipped from a third party (and the code on the back indicates its an AUS card) however I can verify this is a legitimate listing. CrystalDiskMark corroborates what you would expect (and what I found from other reviews). When I transferred over my book files I was pulling around 70 MB/s which is very good considering 90MB/s is nearly impossible. Make sure to verify your product before opening the package.

Got this card to use for storage of my music library in an mp3 player. While listening to music, card spontaneously became corrupt. wouldnt let me format or anything, it was junk. Got a few months out of it, but I would expect a Samsung SD card to last longer than that...
