> 24 hourOne of the main goals in buying this SSD drive was to find a disk that worked seamlessly with both Windows and Mac and password protection. This one failed the Mac capability. The software was unreliable. The disk works fine on Windows but that was only part of the goal.

> 24 hourMy companys MIS Engineer spent 2 hours trying to install it on my 2017 MacBook Pro and failed to get it to work. As an end user heres my take. Samsung may have one of the best SSD hardware but its software simply doesnt work, especially on Mac!!!

> 24 hourMy old iMac (2012) had been frustratingly slow for a long time. I thought the 8G of RAM was not be cutting it but it turned out that the hard drive was the culprit. I cloned the hard drive onto the T5 and substituted the T5 as my new start up disk via the USB port. Tremendous difference in speed. Feels like a new computer. The T5 is remarkably small and takes up virtually no space on my desk. Very pleased.

> 24 hourStarted this review after failure of 1st of 3 of these I have but somehow never published it. Probably waiting to see what Samsung warranty would do. Just reformatted and returned it. Ive treated that one with a little suspicion/caution. But then the 2nd of the 3 failed!! Again, completely invisible to the computer except in Disk Management. I dont remember if disk 1 was there. However, unlike with disk 1, this time I was able to recover the contents of the drive using EaseUS sw happily! Since I could access it as a blank drive in Disk Manager, I initialized & formatted (slow) & then wrote a few large files to it including a few movies. The movies played back fine & the files were readable. Fingers crossed it wont happen again. FWIW, disk 1 has now performed reliably for 6+ months.

> 24 hourI didnt expect the actual size of this SSD to be so small, but I can literally drop this into my pocket. Not stuff, drop.
