> 24 hourI now own four of these of different capacity. I had been using WD MyPassport devices for my back-up, but for some reason the WD backup software no longer functions with Windows 10. I wish the Samsung drives had backup software installed, but they work fine with both Windows FileHistory and Windows legacy backup program. These are much smaller and faster than the WD spinning drives and are now priced at a reasonable level. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourI picked this up to replace my 500G external SSD on my xbox one x. It worked great. Simply plug in to xbox, select format, and begin adding content. I had no hiccups with any software as stated in some of the other reviews, but note that I did not need to use any software.

> 24 hourThese are fast, have sturdy connectors, and travel nicely. I have one 1TB for the fastest Time Machine backups ever, and one for my music drive. The Sandisk ones are probably the only other external brand Id buy, and Samsung has the best warranty, reputation, and market share.

> 24 hourThe write speed was faster with the type A cable than the type C cable but the read speed was faster with the type C cable. Thinking about returning it and getting the T7 drive.
