Greater than one weekThe Samsung T7 Portable SSD 500GB is perfect for backing up my iMac (Late 2013). My backup of a little over 99GB took about 95 minutes with ExFat format via a usb-A port but when I reformat to APFS format, the same backup took only 75 minutes. I am happy with that performance until I upgrade to an iMac with Thunderbolt 3 speed.

Greater than one weekThis thing is awesome! Super lightweight, can pack in anywhere for traveling, and it doesnt get very warm at all. I use it on my Xbox One S. Load times for my games that I transferred to it were cut drastically. No longer am I the last player to load into a match or fast travel to a mission. My only regret is that I didnt buy the bigger storage version and put all my games on it. Deffinately recommend for any gamer looking to reduce load in times.

20-11-2024Convenient, fast, and handy. I can connect it to my phone or computer. I love that I can put it in my pocket and access stuff on my phone when Im away from the computer.

> 3 dayI wrote and erased a few hundred GB to the drive over three months, and after I started my laptop this morning, the entire drive was completely unusable. I cant write to or read it from Windows 1122H2, Ubuntu, or Android 12. Irreplaceable data is now lost forever due to Samsungs incompetence.

> 3 dayNo heat issues at all used in Tesla Model Y for dashcam recording. There was a firmware update for it (Aug 2020) when initially plugged into my Windows 10 PC, which installed without issue. The drive is much more compact than a regular 2.5 SSD in an external case would be, and only requires a compact USB-C connection. It comes with both USB 3.2 spec USB C-C and USB A-C cables, which youll need for top speed transfers, assuming your PC supports USB 3.2 as well. Using a cheap USB 2.0 or 3.0 spec cable may restrict you to <480 Mbps.

Greater than one weekI bought this to hold my local copies of my work. The 3 requirements I had are fulfilled by this device: Be fast, Be big enough, And be large enough to find on the table or in my bag.
