Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dieser Festplatte. Von den 1 TB sind zwar tatsächlich nur 931 GB nutzbar, aber das ist ja normal und noch in einem akzeptablen Bereich. Die Festplatte ist sehr kompakt und kommt ohne zusätzliche Stromversorgung aus. Das Datenkabel reicht. Sehr praktisch finde ich, dass die Festplatte mit beiligendem Kabel auch an mein Android Smartphone angeschlossen werden kann, von dem ich dann meine Fotos direkt übertrage. Die Übertragung ist super schnell, wie man es von einer SSD gewohnt ist. Die Hülle ist von Gummi umgeben, die alltägliche Stöße problemlos überstehen wird.

Sehr schöne Festplatte. Hat auf Anhieb funktioniert und ausreichend schnell. Ich konnte meine Fotos direkt von meinem iPad Pro übertragen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Mac-Software. Hier wurde die Platte nicht gefunden und ein Update war nicht verfügbar. Am Windows PC konnte ich die neuste Firmware installieren. Da sollte Samsung nachbessern.

Moin, top SSD für den Raspberry Pi. Die Leistung der USB Ports vom Pi reicht für die SSD aus. Wenn ihr Home Assistant mit MariaDb nutzen wollt, braucht ihr viel Speicherplatz und eine schnelle SSD. Ich habe die 1 Terabyte. Von mir also eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Die Festplatte hat eine IP65-Zertifizierung, ist also bestens geschützt vor eindringen von Wasser und Staub. Das robuste Aluminium-Design sorgt für eine erhöhte Sicherheit - so übersteht die Festplatte einen Sturz aus 3m Höhe - unbeschadet! Dank eines Passwort-Managers sind persönliche Daten auf der Festplatte bestens geschützt. Die Festplatte ist für PC, Laptop, Konsole, Mac oder Smartphone geeignet, der Anschluss erfolgt via USB.

Bought many of the Samsung T5 and T7 portable SSD’s and highly satisfied till I tried a T7 Shield. The issue is the USB C port is more recessed into the enclosure than the regular T5 or T7 SSD’s and the cable cannot go in far enough to get a firm connection. Looks that way by design. Computer kept make disconnect and reconnect sounds. My drive may be sound but the connector / usb c plug is just too loose. The slightest move of the cable and the cable comes out. Not worth the risk. This will fail if it keeps doing this. Stick with the regular T7, I have those and there is no issue, just please stay away from the shield variants. Update: I was unable to return the drive and gave it away. Recipient cut a usb-c cable back making the plug longer and it works fine. The longer connector holds more securely. How long the cable will hold out is another issue. So samsung needs to provide a longer usb- c connector. Simple solution to a poor design.
