I use it for gaming and for storong some importante files and I was able to move all of my Steam library to it (500 gigabytes of games) plus some other software, backups etc adding to about 700go and I still have storage space left.

> 24 hourI bought this in May 2018. I have used it about once a month to back up my MacBook using Timeline. It has never left my house or my desk area. It has never been dropped or abused in any way. And now it is dead. It can not be used. It refuses to mount. I have tried many ways to save it, restore it, get it to mount, without any success. I even resorted to using the Terminal function to try fix it but it wont work. Less than two years of use and it dead. Very frustrating. I dont recommend this product.

> 24 hourI have used this hard drive, more than probably any drive that I ever owned. I have edited atleast 3 films, with the premier pro projects files stored in this drive / with final cut pro - stored the working version files in the drive / edited over 10,000 photos / wrangled atleast 5 TB worth data on and off this desk. As we are speaking - a project in final cut pro with media imported from this drive is now writing the end exports into the same drive. And it has been serving real well, at least since the last 5 months.
