Really impressive transfer speeds over USB 3.0 for both read and write... Ive noticed price has risen significantly since I purchased which is a reflection of market and popularity of this device... fast enough to stream significant sized Professional VST sample-based instruments.

Amazing product !

Great device - capacity and speed were as advertised. The only surprise is a good one - its very, very, small. If you used the included loop to put it on your keychain, its roughly the same size as one of your automobile key fobs. Definitely have and will buy again as I need more external storage.

Excellent! I used this as my boot drive for my Mac ... it has greatly improved the overall speed of my Mac as compared to when it was booting from the HDD that it came with.

Bought 2 of these, 1 for desktop - permanently mounted and 1 for laptop/travel - used to perform ad hoc and weekly backups. No problems mounting or setting up to use with Time Machine, first full backup took a little while but nowhere near as long as the Time Capsule (now defunct). This product was recommended by a family member, would recommend.
