unit faulty, manufacturer is dragging its feet on warranty replacement... still nothing. As of 5/10/23, still no repalcement and I returned defective part weeks ago....

I just got this memory card so I cant speak to its longevity, storage capacity, etc. but did want to say that for my particular camera - Sony Cyber-shot HX60v, the card works. I had no problem getting my camera to recognize the card, and after a number of quick tests, so far, so good. I bought this memory card for a European road trip my husband and I are going on, in April. That will be the real proving ground. I am packing an additional card just in case, but if anything goes awry with this memory card, I will edit this review.

Mostly this review is aimed at people who are looking for an SD card for older cameras. Those can be fiddly, and not all the cards work the way they should, with issues in older devices writing to reading from, and in some cases of recognizing the existence of newer cards. This one gave me no problems at all. It’s probably obvious but mind the size limits of your camera. 64 gig is the largest I could pick up, but at HD that’s 14 hours of video.
