Wanted to buy an additional portable hard drive, as most of my files are large picture files and these can take some time when backing up a large quantity to a portable drive. A SSD drive looked to be a better option and a quicker method of backing up, and already owning a SanDisk iXpand flash drive, which has USB to Lightning connections for easy transfer between laptop & iPad, the SanDisk Extreme seemed ideal.

I purchased this at the end of march, and 2 weeks ago it crashed while editing a Music Video for of my clients. I sent it to a company in atlanta to recover my data and a week later, received an email stating that the data is unrecoverable and unrecognizable due to internal failure!!!

PROS: Nice price: Loads of storage. Lightweight, small form factor Drive did all that I asked of it. I did not notice any excessive heat build up like you sometimes get from thumb drives when overtaxed.

Good tech support and it comes with a capacity to lock the SanDisk keeping the materials on it safe. It also appears small and portable for easy carriage.

Einfach zu benutzen, läuft sehr schnell ist sehr robust und kompakt. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Lo utilizo para guardar los videos que edito con Davinci Resolve. Para mi, que sólo soy aficionado, la velocidad de lectura escritura es más que aceptable. Estoy muy contento.

It was a little small lol but as long as you make sure you know where you put it not like me and lost it after one day aprt from this its an amazing bit of kit
