I like Sandisk as a company and have their products throughout many years, its just a pretty reliable brand. I purchased 2 of these for my sons Xbox 360, to go from his 4gb Xbox to a 68GB Xbox. For his games its more than enough, since he doesnt download games all the time. I was looking everywhere for the original 120gb Xbox Hard drive, but it was expensive and for $20 bucks for 2 32gb sticks, this did the trick, with room to grow. Speed is dependent, sometimes you want a super fast USB drive, which I have or a super fast sd card for cameras, etc... Plenty of reviewers better than me have shown exact speeds. without getting technical, Id say the speed is average. When you use it just for storage or for Xbox, it works just great. If I was speed dependent, Im sure there are faster ones out there. Small, Thin, Cool, What else do you need? If you just need a good stick at a good price, this is the one for you. Throw it on a keychain and youll always have something for a backup. I bought the 32gb versions, but when you see 10 packs of 8gb for $5 bucks each or even a $35 for the 128gb version, theyre such great pricing for a really reliable stick. One year, I grabbed 5 or so and just handed them out as gifts to nieces and nephews. Some laptops have a 128 or 256 hard drive still, yet you can have a 128gb usb drive to store all you pics from your phone on for safe keeping at these prices. I did that recently for my sister inlay, just stored her pics and she literally just threw this right in her drawer for safe keeping. Lot of great ideas, when you can

Bought a set of two 128 GB USB flash drives. Fortunately I read the reviews and didnt expect them to be too fast. I bought these as backup for photos for a trip Im about to take and I want to make sure I have two copies of all photos. Just testing I transferred 5 photos totaling 238 MB from the SD Card to the laptop hard drive and it took 9 seconds. Transferring the same 238 MB from the Hard Drive to the Cruzer took over 28 seconds or three times as long. Just to test to see if it was the Hard Drives fault I tried a pass through directly from the SD card to the Cruzer through the laptop and it took around 36 seconds. To be fair, it is a small and inexpensive laptop, but all of the tests were on the same laptop so comparisons are apples to apples . . . though in this case it was a Windows based pc. ;-)

Great space for stuff.

I liked the storage capacity of this particular type of handset. Nothing to slide or open for use. The two pack was a great value. Buy to save photos and free up space on the laptop. It is easy to use, the only drawback is that the unit is small and could easily get lost. I keep mine is a case of flash memory storage.
