Unfortunately, this did not work for my early 2009 iMac (9,1) through the SATA connection. I just kept getting a white screen. It did work when connecting via a USB, so I’m guessing it is just not compatible with older macs. Five stars because it is a good drive, but just won’t work for my application. Ended up buying an OWC SSD and it did work for those looking for a drive for an old iMac.

Me encanta el rendimiento que tiene este disco SSD. Va rápido y consigo tasas de 500 MB/s reales. No confundir con el disco de la misma marca pero que lleva en la etiqueta en vez de SSD, Solíd State Disk, ya que ese no es de 500GB, sino de 480GB y es algo más lento.

Die SSD Disk ist schnell eingebaut und unter Windows sehr schnell integriert. Sie ist schnell und zuverlässig (hoffe ich jedenfalls, da eine ähnliche Sandisk Platte bei mir seit Jahren gute Dienste tut).

Ich habe diese SSD für einen iMac gekauft da die originale HDD sehr langsam war. Der iMac sollte eigentlich, ob der Geschwindigkeit, verkauft werden. Nach Wechsel der HDD gegen diese SSD fühlt sich der iMac an wie ein aktueller iMac.

Needed some storage for documents and whatnot, this does the job nicely.

It speeded up my computer after replacing the original HDD so much that it really feels like a new laptop.
