Fast, reliable. Works great in my laptop. I work for an IT services company and spend my days hearing people complain about how slow their computers are. Everyone looks at RAM and processors, but often the hard drive gets overlooked. A traditional hard drive has moving parts and is limited in how quickly data can be read and written. A solid state drive has no moving parts and can read and write data much more quickly.

Sandisk (and Western Digital) SSD products are a rare breed on the market because they actually have diagnostic health tools (SSD Dashboard) and cloning software (Acronis Trueimage) available for free. I have three Sandisk SSD drives in service and all have been 100% reliable . Now, before a thousand of you ask me if this drive will fit your computer PLEASE look up the specifications on your computer and see if it has a 2.5 drive bay. It it does then this drive will fit. Or look up the model of drive your computer currently has and if its a 2.5 drive then this one will fit. Or if you remove the HDD cover on your laptop and find a 2.5 drive inside then this drive will fit. Im not answering anymore stupid questions when you can find the information yourself with a 60 second search on the web.
